Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Fullerton Residents Directory receives, how that information is used, and the choices available to visitors. Collection is limited because the pages are a reference to Fullerton, California public rolls and directory collections. No account is required, and the site does not maintain a resident file about you.

Information You Submit

A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not keep a copy of that search. If you contact us, the mailbox receives the contents of your message and uses them to answer it.

Routine Technical Logs

Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time stamps. Those details are reviewed in aggregate for service health and broad page-use patterns. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or, when applicable, advertising measurement.

How the Information Is Used

The purposes are limited to running the pages, fixing faults, measuring traffic, and improving the reference. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from these records.

External Portals and Tools

Fullerton and Orange County record portals, California agencies, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools have their own privacy policies. Those policies govern anything submitted on their services. The same applies to sponsored results supplied by another company.

Who Receives Limited Data

Hosting and technical providers may process server logs while supporting the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure may also occur when valid legal process requires it.

Security and Retention

The pages use an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes stated above. Since the service has no user accounts, it does not hold a site password or personal profile that could be exposed.

Visitors Under 18

Fullerton Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from someone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so it can be removed.

Your California Privacy Choices

Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code §1798.100 et seq., provide access, correction, deletion, and sale or sharing opt-out rights. California's Delete Act also creates a state data-broker deletion process overseen by the California Privacy Protection Agency. Because this service keeps very little, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page to ask. Government-held records are different: the California Public Records Act, Government Code division 10, §§7920.000-7931.000, governs access to those records, and a deletion request must go to the actual custodian.

Policy Changes

Revisions will be posted here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
